I bet you'll use it, no problem there.

I just looked up the beef/chicken I buy... I knew it was organic/antibiotic and hormone-free... but it turns out it is also grass/grain fed. Yay. And I can get it at my grocery store :)

Thanks! I know, that is the one thing we are worried about but I am hopeful we will actually use it. We've been pretty good about using the one above the fridge, and we've pretty much stopped eating meat from the store so if we want to eat meat I have to go to the freezer!

That is really funny,I've never heard of a kimchi freezer - well you'll have to get him a freezer when you buy a house!! I always forget about freecycle, they do have it here too but i've still never used it. That is awesome about the stoop sales (and funny that's what they are called in Brooklyn) See ya tomorrow!!!!!

Nice bargain! Congratulations!

I have an ancient fridge/freezer in my basement but I only use it at Christmas or a few other rare occasions when we have a lot of people over.

I'm not good at making good use of a freezer. I put stuff in, and it never seems to come out again... not until it has some serious freezer burn and looks completely inedible. I've got chicken wings matching that description in my kitchen freezer at the moment. and I think I'll just end up using them for soup stock.

Man, it is Min's ultimate dream to have a second freezer - that's why he moved to the US. He wanted more than just a kimchi refrigerator (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimchi_Fridge)" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimchi_Fridge)</a> - ha ha! We're really hoping to buy a house this year, and if so 2nd freezer here we come! Craigslist is amazing - I'm totally addicted! They also have a website here called freecycle.org - it's for people to give stuff away instead of trashing it. It's probably in Boulder too. I am hooked on buying everything used now! I went to a bunch of stoop sales in downtown Brooklyn over the weekend and got a bunch of toys, clothes, high chair, etc for Leah and it all cost under $20!
