I like Five Guys Burgers and Fries as well. They only fry french fries and their only wheat containing items are their buns. There is however a risk of cc so you have to stay on top of them. Their prep area is open like at Chipotle but they aren't as careful. (and if you are DF too, watch the cheese on the grill).

I am trying to go gluten free for my husband and daughter. I think they may have a sensitivity. My concern is that just because you are going gluten free does not make it healthy. I do a lot of label reading and most of these suggestions have a super high net carb rate which spikes your blood sugar. This is a problem when you are trying to lose weight and keep your blood sugar level. Any suggestions on meals that are gluten free and healthy??

Thank you for the real world suggestions. Not all of us have the $ to pay $3 for 1/2 lb of dry pasta when there is a teenager you are trying to feed!

Another suggestion - Chinese food! Much of it with rice is Gluten free to begin with - you need to watch soy sauce, but La Choy low sodium is not made with wheat, and half the price of the "gluten free" fancy ones. Even the packets from our local take out are gluten free!
